The Media Law Forum is a dynamic organization at the intersection of media, technology, and legal practice. We analyze emerging legal issues in digital media, press freedom, content regulation, and intellectual property in the evolving media landscape.
- What We’re Looking For
We invite passionate students from BOTH legal studies AND mass communication backgrounds to join our team as interns for the upcoming term. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for media law developments.
- Responsibilities
- Assisting legal research on emerging media laws topics
- Draft articles, case summaries, and policy analyses for our publications
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting media industries
- Creating databases and maintaining database
- Contribute to our social media presence and community engagement
- Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or fresh graduate student in legal studies, mass communication, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and Sinhala written and oral
- Graphic design skills and experience give more prioritize
- academic record and research abilities
- Demonstrated interest in media, communications, or media law & digital rights
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in teams
