Call for Applications (Lawyers & Legal Experts) – Strengthening Legal Protection and Access to Justice for Environmental Journalists in Sri Lanka
The Media Law Forum is establishing a Bilingual Legal Support Network to strengthen legal protection and access to justice for environmental journalists in Sri Lanka.
We invite lawyers and legal experts interested in defending freedom of expression and environmental justice to apply. Selected applicants will become part of a national database of professionals committed to supporting environmental journalists.
Responsibilities of the Network include:
Providing legal advice and assistance to environmental journalists Contributing to advocacy and awareness on media and environmental law Building a sustainable referral system for legal support across Sri LankaWho can apply?
Practicing lawyers in Sri Lanka Legal experts and academics with interest in media/environmental law Lawyers willing to engage in pro bono or public interest litigation
